I’m a vegetarian, my husband is an omnivore and our daughter Paige, affectionately nicknamed Paigelet, falls somewhere in between. The recipes shared here are our family’s favorites, held together by a few common themes.
- They’re all vegetarian or vegan, a dietary choice and moral obligation that I’m proud to uphold.
- They’re family-friendly with age-appropriate foods for the whole brood: from babies experimenting with solids for the first time, to infamously picky toddlers, to Mom & Dad.
- They’re healthy, nutritious and balanced, with special care taken to meet the unique nutrition needs of vegetarians (think iron, vitamin C and protein).
